Chalfont St Peter Community Library

In April 2011 Buckinghamshire County Council Cabinet decided to close the county library that existed in Chalfont St Peter and replace it with a county community partnership model of library delivery. With the support of the CSP Parish Council and a generous sponsorship from Fairweather Insurance, a group of local residents formed a charity called ‘The Chalfont St Peter Community Library’ was opened on 3rd January 2012, to ensure that we could retain this valuable resource for our village.
