A Community Library for Chalfont St Peter
The Chalfont St Peter Community Library opened on 3rd January 2012. It is run by a volunteer management team and the front desk is manned solely by enthusiastic volunteers
As we are still members of the Buckinghamshire Library Services, customers can still borrow, return and reserve books across the county system using the library card they have.

Our Wi-Fi equipment is now installed and working. For FREE access, ask at the desk.
New fencing now installed
Our new white picket fencing has been installed and we look forward to spring and summer events and book-sales taking place on the lawn.
Just Announced ! Our first event of the year on the lawn... The Library Plant Sale to be held on Saturday 3rd May 10am-1pm

4 computers are available for public use - 1 hour free a day for all members. Printing & photocopying is also available at 15p (B&W) or 50p (Colour) per page.
Honesty loan magazines
Popular magazines donated by generous members are available on an honesty loan basis.
The only DVD Hire in Town...
Our library is the only place in the village where new and popular DVDs for both adults and children can still be hired.
Come in and browse our selection or join our facebook page to be updated with our new releases. DVDs can also be reserved through the county system using your library card details (50p)
