A Community Library for Chalfont St Peter
Opened on 3rd January 2012 - it is run by a volunteer management team and the front desk is manned byvolunteers
The library is still part of Buckinghamshire Library Services so our users have access to the full range of county library services

The library is 50 years old this year !

We offer FREE help and advice sessions with a professional genealogist. Appointments necessary - contact Chalfont Research for more information.
Need more confidence in using your computer ?
We provide one-to-one tuition sessions on the basics of computer use : emailing, internet access, writing documents, and general housekeeping - come in and ask for details.
Access to Free Internet
4 computers are available for public use - 1 hour free a day for all members.
Printing & photocopying also available at 15p (B&W) or 50p (Colour) per page.
Free Wi-Fi also available.
Honesty Loan Magazines
Popular magazines donated by generous members are available on an honesty loan basis.
The only DVD Hire in Town...
Our library is the only place in the village where new and popular DVDs for both adults and children can still be hired.
Come in and browse our selection or join our facebook page to be updated with our new releases.
DVDs (and books) can also be reserved through thecounty system using your library card details (Reservation Fee 60p)
