A Community Library for Chalfont St Peter
The Chalfont St Peter Community Library opened on 3rd January 2012. It is run by a volunteer management team and the front desk is manned solely by enthusiastic volunteers

We celebrate our 1st birthday!
The Library celebrated its first birthday on Mon 28th Jan. A number of invited guests, Friends of the Library, our wonderful volunteers, committee members and interested members of the public joined us for the anniversary of our opening in 2012

1st Birthday Raffle
Our raffle raised £156 which will be invested in our children's fiction books later this month

Library goes Digital...
Our library has entered the digital age by the unveiling of a new Digital Screen kindly organised by Councillor Bruce Allen and the BCC Leaders' Fund
The digital screen will be used for advertising new stock, community and library events and also available for commercial advertising for local businesses

The Library is offering free one-to-one advice sessions with a professional, local genealogist from Chalfont Research. Come and chat about how to trace your own family history, the history of your house, or any other family research question — unlock your unique family story.

The only DVD Hire in Town...
Our library is the only place in the village where new and popular DVDs for both adults and children can still be hired at £2.30 per DVD per week.
Come in and browse our selection or join our facebook page to be updated with our new releases. DVDs can also be reserved through the county system using your library card details (50p)
